Place your trash at the curb no later than 6:00 AM on the day of pickup, but no earlier than the evening before pickup.

Check the calendar for dates for bulk trash, metal and e-waste collection. Better yet, sign up to be notified!


Bulk Trash Collection

You can put up to 3 large items or up to 8 trash bags for bulk trash collection.
There is no bulk or e-waste pickup in November and December.

Metal and E-Waste Collection

You must call us to let us know that you’ll be putting the items out.

Replacement Bins & Lids

You can obtain replacement bins and lids by calling Public Works during regular business hours. Each household may have only one bin.

Recycling

Blue Bins

Please put ONLY these items in the blue bins. NO wax-covered paper, food boxes, books or catalogues. FOR QUESTIONS, CONTACT DEANNA TYCIAK AT THE NUMBER IN THE COLUMN TO THE RIGHT.

  • Aluminum and tin food cans
  • Flattened cardboard boxes
  • Glass 
  • #1 & #2 plastics only
  • Newspaper

Recycling Center

The Recycling Center is closed on Sundays and Mondays

The Recycling Center accepts:

  • Brush/limbs no more than 5 inches in diameter
  • Electronics/TVs
  • Limited trash
  • Leaves NOT in plastic bags
  • Metal
  • Paper/Cardboard NOT in plastic bags
  • Plastic/Glass bottles
  • Used oil (15 quarts total, NO 5-gallon containers - must dump yourself)

Items NOT Accepted (Call if you are not sure):

  • Tires
  • Wood/Fence/Lumber
  • Stumps, Grass
  • Concrete/Asphalt
  • Paint/Hazardous Materials
  • Construction Materials (e.g. doors, flooring, roofing, sheetrock, siding, decking, bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)

A Streetlight Outage: Call Atlantic City Electric (have the pole number ready) at 800-833-7476.

A Pothole: Call Public Works at 856-694-3155 for a township road. For county roads, fill out this form.

A Deer Carcass: Call Gloucester County at 856-307-6400, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday. All other hours and weekends, call 856-589-0911.
