| | Municipal Alliance | This vital organization reaches out to the community to address the growing problem with alcoholism and addiction through identification, education and prevention. |
| | Planning Board | The Planning Board creates/updates the Franklin Township Master Plan, creates & reviews land use ordinances and subdivision plans, and creates the official township map. |
| | Recreation Commission | This group oversees township sports leagues for our children, and manages special events such as Community Day, the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas at the Center. |

| | Township Committee | Five elected members serve staggered terms to ensure there are always experienced members. The Mayor is chosen by the other Township Committee members at the annual Reorganization Meeting held immediately after the New Year. |
