Due to the number of newspapers ceasing print publication, the state is allowing townships to publish public notices on their websites. Effective March 1, 2026, such online publications will be required (we are not required to post Public Notices for School Districts, libraries, or local fire companies, which have their own websites).
Anticipating the changes, we have set up a format which we believe satisfies the new requirements and have begun publishing Public Notices from the Municipal Clerk, Planning, and Zoning on the website. We will be requesting a review by the township solicitor, and if any changes are recommended we will notify you.
