Ordinance 02-24 directs the Township Clerk to maintain a list of homes for which the owner and/or occupant has stated that they do not want peddling, canvassing or door-to-door sales.. The list will be updated on July 1 of each year and given to door-to-door vendors who must obtain a license. Exemptions for public utilities, non-profit organizations and others are listed in the ordinance and on the "No Knock" Application Form.
A "No Knock" sticker for your door or window may be purchased for $5 at the Municipal Clerk's office.
If you include $5 with your application, the clerk will mail the sticker back to you.
