The training was presented by the Gloucester County EMS program and was attended by approximately thirty-five (35) senior citizens. Chief Matt DeCesari and Administrator Finley made an appearance at the training. Also present was Cindy Merckx, Editor of the Gloucester County Sentinel.

Participants were able to physically practice life-saving CPR on life-like figurines, when "Minutes Matter."

Senior Commission liaison Jean Thompson was presented the idea by Barbara Sikora, who took care of scheduling and arranging for this life saving training program.
Mayor Bruno was quoted as saying “this type of free program is a perfect for our senior community. It gives them some possible life saving training and introduces them to our county emergency service personnel. It is events like this that could have a lifelong impact on someone within our community.”
