On December 9, the Newfield Terrace Community Center and Franklin Township Police Department will participate in the 3rd Annual Holiday with a Hero (formerly known as Shop with a Cop).
Law enforcement agencies, fire departments, businesses, schools and individuals like you help us take children from our township to WalMart to purchase gifts for their family members.
But it’s more than a simple shopping trip. Holiday with a Hero encourages and empowers needy children to give of their time to loved ones, while strengthening the bond between them and local police, firefighters and EMTs. It builds positive relationships that can last a lifetime!
We’re hoping to host at least 35 children this year. If you can contribute, you will become a big part of making this day special, knowing that 100% of your donation goes directly to the children.
