Beginning March 29, library cardholders may schedule half hour appointments between the hours of 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. The library is currently open Monday through Friday for curbside pickup only. Curbside pickup service will continue and those appointments may be scheduled between the hours of 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday through Thursday, as well as between 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Fridays. Library hours and appointment availability may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
Library guests must schedule an appointment for browsing; there will be no walk-ins. Guests must wear masks and socially distance while in the library. Sanitizing stations will be available throughout the library; however, restrooms will remain closed to the public so please plan accordingly.
To schedule an appointment, please call the library at 856-694-2833, extension 1. A staff member will review the library's safety guidelines with you at that time. Upon your arrival at the library, a staff member will greet you at the front door at your appointed time.
How are we keeping you safe? All materials returned to the library are quarantined for seven days before being returned to circulation. Staff will wear face masks, and gloves, during the checkout process.
What else are we doing? The library continues to offer electronic resources, such as our databases and downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, and eMagazines through our website (www.ftlnj.org). We also offer virtual storytimes and monthly Crafternoon kits to go. Additionally, we can assist you with reference questions and reading suggestions. Please call the library at 856-694-2833, extension 1, to speak with a member of staff.
Celebrate National Library Week with us! The first ten guests to schedule an appointment for in-person browsing will receive a free canvas tote bag, courtesy of the Friends of the Library.
