Franklin Township Library Open for Curbside Pickup Only
The library is currently open Monday through Friday for curbside pickup only. Curbside pickup appointments are scheduled between the hours of 11am-2pm and 5pm-7pm on Monday through Thursday, as well as between 11am-4pm on Fridays.
How are we keeping you safe? All materials returned to the library are quarantined for seven days before being returned to circulation. Staff wear face masks and gloves when delivering items for pickup to your vehicle.
What else are we doing? The library continues to offer electronic resources, such as our databases and downloadable eBooks, through our website (www.ftlnj.org). We also offer virtual storytimes and monthly Crafternoon kits to go. Additionally, we can assist you with reference questions and reading suggestions. Please call the library at (856) 694-2833, extension 1, to speak with a member of staff.
Get Weekly Email Alerts
The library now offers weekly email alerts showing you the newest items that we purchase each week. We hope you'll enjoy hearing about the many exciting bestsellers, movies, music, and recorded books almost the very moment they arrive at the library. To sign up, go to our website at www.ftlnj.org, look for the "Newest Arrivals" scrolling marquee on our homepage, and click on "More." Whenever you spot something of interest, you'll be able to click instantly to reserve it and check it out at your convenience. This service is only available to Franklin Township Library cardholders.
Wee Read Story Time - Every Wednesday Online
The library misses our storytime guests but we will continue the fun in the virtual realm. Join Miss Linda every Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. for a new edition. Can't view it at that time? Check out our Facebook page to catch up. Miss Linda can't wait for you to join her as she reads stories, sings songs, and does rhymes. Some weeks there will be a craft to go along with the story. The fun is perfect for ages 3 to 5.

Blind Date with a Book Runs Through February 28th at The Franklin Township Library
The Franklin Township Library is once again offering its popular "Blind Date with a Book" program. So how does it work? Adult patrons are invited to enjoy a "blind date" with a book by simply requesting one of our pre-wrapped books/audiobooks. When returning your "date" (book), enter the random drawing for the grand prize of a $50 gift card to the Franklinville Inn by completing the "Rate Your Date" form included in each book. The prize will be awarded on March 1st. The more "dates" that you go on, the greater your chances of winning. Who knows, you may just find the match of your literary dreams! The Franklin Township Library is located at 1584 Coles Mill Road in Franklinville. For more information, call (856) 694-2833, extension 1.
