Monday, February 17 (Presidents’ Day): Closed

Tuesdays & Wednesdays through May 20 - 10:30 AM: WEE READ STORYTIME WINTER SESSION. Come read, laugh, and play at Wee Read Storytime. Learn shapes, colors, numbers, ABC’s and socialization. Ages 2 1/2-5 with a caregiver. No registration necessary.

Tuesday, February 4 at 7:00 PM: PAGE TURNERS BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP MEETING. Monthly meeting. We will be discussing Women Rowing North by Mary Pipher. If you are interested in joining the group, or if you need help finding a copy of the book, please contact the library at (856) 694-2833, extension 1. Open to adults only, ages 18+. Registration required.

Saturday, February 8 at 1:00 PM: STEAM ACTIVITY: HOW THE BALL ROLLS…AGAIN. (FEATURING KEVA PLANKS). Now we’re getting these Keva Planks in motion! But how will simple planks build up enough momentum to make a ball roll down two tables? It’s up to the youth ages 8-12 to figure it out! Registration required.

Tuesday, February 11, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM: DUNGEONS & DRAGONS FOR BEGINNERS. Teens, grades 6-12, want to learn the adventure and 20-sided dice of Dungeons and Dragons? This group is a perfect opportunity to learn how to play this journey of a game. This session is a castle crashing adventure, as we’ll crash a castle full of monsters. Will the monsters be too much to bear? We’ll have to see! Registration required.

Tuesday, February 18 at 6:30 PM: TEEN ADVISORY BOARD. Want to gain some volunteer hours? Try the Teen Advisory Board, where there are games and discussion on what to organize for the library. A storm is brewing of the brain variety. Welcoming teens grades 7-12. Registration required.

Thursday, February 20 at 6:30 PM: NOTABLE AMERICAN WOMEN: HENRIETTA CRAWFORD, AFRICAN AMERICAN SUFFRAGETTE. Throughout 2020, we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, which gave women the right to vote. Each month, we will feature a notable American woman. January featured a character portrayal of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton, wife of founding father Alexander Hamilton. February’s lecture will be presented by Dr. James Elton Johnson, author of Henrietta Crawford: African American Suffragist of South Jersey. Crawford was a leading voice in the women’s suffrage movement centered in the Landisville, NJ, area. Please join us. Lite refreshments. Registration required.

Saturday, February 22 at 9:30 AM: FRIENDS OF FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP LIBRARY MEETING. Monthly meeting. New members always welcome. Please join us! No registration required.

Tuesday, February 25 at 6:30 PM: LEGO LEAGUE. Join us for our monthly meeting. Build challenge to be determined. Open to all ages but children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration required.

Wednesday, February 26, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM: ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS. This is a group for those who have rolled the D20 before. Open to teens grades 7-12. Registration required.

SAVE THE DATE! The Friends of the Library annual Spring Book Sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2020.
