Here are answers to common questions
Q: How can I get a copy of a police report?
Stop by the station Monday – Thursday from 8:30am – 4:00pm
If you need the report outside of these hours, call 856-694-1415 during regular hours and you can pick it up from the dispatcher. A small processing fee is charged for copies of the report.
Q: How do I pay a traffic summons?
Q: When should I call the police?
You should call the police department when you are the victim of a crime, need counseling assistance, or need any other public assistance.
Q: What information do the police need to help me?
The police need to know you name, address, telephone number, what the problem is, who else is involved, and sometimes a brief history of the event/problem. Never hang up the phone until the dispatcher tells you to. Remember…the more you help us on the phone the better the police can help when they arrive.
Q: What if I’m not sure I need to call the police?
Call us anyway! We will be happy to direct you to the appropriate agency. We would rather you call and talk to an officer than to regret calling.
Q: How do I receive information about neighborhood watch programs, D.A.R.E. programs, teen programs, bicycle registration, or crime prevention surveys?
Simply contact the police department at 856-694-1415 ext. 130 and a police officer can either meet with you in person or explain a project to you over the phone.
