Immediate opening to work in the Franklin Township Administration Offices in such activities as payroll, tax office, help residents in all offices within Township, answer phones and questions from residents, and any other activities as required by the Township Administrator. Must be able to work closely with the Public. Must be able to work independently and must also be able to work closely with supervisor and Township Committee.

Applicants must meet income and property eligibility requirements. You must have owned your home a minimum of three (3) years and must maintain the unit as your principal residence throughout the remainder of the affordability period in accordance with the terms of the Loan Agreement, Mortgage and Note. This program is a loan program. It is a zero percent interest deferred payment loan which means there are no monthly payments; however, a mortgage will be placed on the property in the amount of the construction cost to rehabilitate your home. No individual loan may exceed $25,000. The lien will remain in force until repayment for which conditions and terms are further explained in the application and policy manual. Please note that this is not a remodeling program but a mechanism to provide eligible homeowners with the means to alleviate code deficiencies and provide weatherization.

Franklin Township Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Police Officer. Applicants must be United States citizens, 18 years of age or older and be a resident of the State of New Jersey. Applicants must possess a valid NJ driver’s license. P.T.C. certification is required. Applicants must be able to successfully complete a physical fitness test, oral interview, medical exam, written exam, drug test and a psychological examination.
